Shelf-Initiated Project

As part of Press-play by National Library Singapore, the shelf-initiated project  brought together illustrators under the guidance of a mentor to re-interpret various books into an illustration for a book-drop shelf. I participated as an illustrator to create an illustration for the shelf at the Jurong National Library. 

 

For our team, we decided to create a local garden scene featuring various characters from books like The Wind in the Willows, Peter-pan and the Picture of Dorian Gray. There are also at least 20 cats hidden in the illustration!
